Buffalo, New York, July 7, 2005 – Rare Earth Interactive Design, Inc., today hosted an international delegation at its Buffalo, New York Headquarters. The members of the delegation, representing Kenya, Tunisia, Eritrea, Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Palestine and the Philippines, are participants in the
Buffalo Niagara World Connect International Visitor Leadership Program , sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
Participants in the program are leaders in their respective professions and are instrumental in shaping the future of their areas of expertise in their home countries. Members of today’s delegation are focusing on the promotion of e-Commerce, e-Business development and the influence of electronic commerce in the U.S. and global economy.
While at Rare Earth, the members of the delegation received demonstrations of how an integrated eBusiness application such as Rare Earth’s
StetNet Admin Premium can enable organizations of any size and scope to become competitive in the global Internet Marketplace, in ways which were previously cost- or resource prohibitive.
Participants also learned that through the use of broadcast email, private/restricted access communities, news and events management, an organization can leverage the value of its website content and knowledge, to grow a loyal and profitable customer/community base. By collecting and sharing content with members of the organization’s community in this way, an organization becomes the preferred source for trusted community information, and attracts other members of the global Internet Marketplace into its community of users.
“An excellent example of the success of this approach comes from one of our educational clients – the
Family Foundation School ,” said Craig C. Chapman, founder and Creative Director of Rare Earth. He continued, “before deploying this type of solution two years ago, the Family School received roughly 1 out of every 20 of its inquiries from its website. Now 2 out of every 3 comes through the site, encompassing everything from information requests to online enrollment.”
Chapman concluded, “by using the web as its central point of communication with its market and community members, the school has attracted more attention, greater awareness and broader recruitment capabilities, and is also able to directly communicate with its most important members in a powerful, personal way, through its parents-only online community. This is what sets them apart from their peers.”
For-profit Rare Earth customers such as
Cutex Nails ,
Lansinoh and
Home Instead Senior Care , as well as not-for-profits including the
Organization for Human Brain Mapping , the
Association for Chemoreception Sciences and the Greater Buffalo Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America, have embraced this approach as a major component of their overall marketing communications initiative.
