Rare Earth Interactive Design, a local creative firm specializing in Web site design and development, has renewed its contract with Zippo Manufacturing Company and added Gray Line Niagara and the Mark Twain Museum of Buffalo to its client roster.

For Zippo, www.zippo.com, Rare Earth will redesign its Web site home page, redevelop its motorsports section and add several more interactive games which have proven to be a big draw to the company's site. Additionally, Rare Earth will develop Web information promoting the 2000 Zippo/Case International Swap Meet which will be held in Bradford, Pa., July 21-22. The theme for this year's Swap Meet is "Welcome Back" and will feature more than 6,000 Zippo and Case collectors from around the world who will converge to display, sell and swap their prized collectibles.
Also, Rare Earth will develop an on-line booking qualification application for Gray Line Niagara, a local motor coach company, and develop a Web site for the new Mark Twain Museum of Buffalo.

Rare Earth has redesigned its own Web site as well, www.rareearthdesign.com. Craig Chapman, president of Rare Earth, was recently voted to the board of Buffalo Free-Net, a community information service for the eight counties of Western New York providing no cost basic Internet access and web hosting services for nonprofit organizations and individuals with special interests.

Rare Earth Interactive Design was established in June 1998 by Craig Chapman. The company has designed Web sites for some of the world's most widely recognized brands, including Zippo Manufacturing Company, www.zippo.com; Welch's International, www.welchsinternational.com (Rare Earth is currently redesigning this site); Circuit City; Mark IV Industries, www.mark-iv.com; to name a few.
